FAQS

    • How old do you have to be to play Laser Quest?

      We are strictly 18+.

    • What forms of ID do you accept?

We only accept in date, physical passports or driving licenses as proof of age – photographs of passports or driving licenses are not acceptable forms of ID. We do appreciate that there are other legal methods of ID in England, Scotland and Wales, but we have no obligation, legal or otherwise, to accept these as legitimate forms of proof of age for entry into our venues.

    • Do I need to sign a waiver?

A waiver to play Laser Quest is not required to be signed in advance of play, however you must agree to our rules of play this will be done during briefing.

    • What happens if fewer players turn up on the day?

To ensure booking availability is fair to all our customers, we do not offer any refunds for no shows.

    • Where is my booking confirmation?

You will receive a booking confirmation email, please ensure you check your junk/spam folders. If you can’t find it don’t worry, you can always let us know your name and email address when you are checking in.

    • What happens when we arrive? How does it all work?

When you arrive at NQ64, the Laser Quest arena is downstairs in NQ64, please arrive at least ten minutes before your ticket time. Your game starts at the time shown on your ticket.

You will then be taken through to the briefing room, where we will run through game objectives and safety rules and be kitted out in your laser packs. Only then is it time to enter the arena and let battle commence!

After each mission you will return to the pack room to remove your laser packs then head to the bar for an ice cold bev, a breather and to check those all important scores.

    • How long does a game of Laser Quest last?

Each game takes roughly ten minutes.

    • Are there any medical conditions which prevent participation?

Anyone who has high blood pressure, heart problems, epilepsy, back or neck problems, or is pregnant are not allowed to participate.

We are not qualified to give medical advice about an individual’s suitability to play.

Any person with an injury should consider that Laser Quest is a game that requires physical exertion.

Laser Quest is played with other people in a dark, unfamiliar environment with music, flashing lighting effects and theatrical haze.

If you are in any doubt we suggest consulting your GP/qualified medical professional so you can make an informed decision as all players participate at their own risk.

    • What should I wear?

Whatever the fuck you want really, but comfortable clothes and flat shoes with a sole that grips will certainly give you a competitive advantage.

Please note, that we do not allow customers to play bare footed, wearing heeled shoes or wearing open-toe footwear, such as flip-flops, sliders or similar. If you arrive in unsuitable footwear, we will not allow you to play for your own safety, but we will honour your booking and allow you to return at a later date to play your game sessions.
